RejectConf 2008

So your talk has been rejected by the conference chair? Never mind - join us at this years RejectConf. Everyone can talk about anything - as long as they stick to the 5 minute time limit.
when?
- tuesday, 02. september, 21.00 - right after the TUESDAY NIGHT KEYNOTE
- come early if you want a seat! last year the cove filled up pretty quickly ...
where?
- pirate cove, tempelhofer ufer 1 (same great place as last year)
- from rails conf, take underground line u6 going south (direction ‘alt-mariendorf’), exit at ‘hallesches tor’, cross the canal, turn right, follow the canal for about 100 meters.
- (there will be some signs posted along the way.)
what?
- everything that was too radical / daring / funny / crappy / ... to make it into the official program
- continuing the glorious tradition from reject confs all over the world
how?
- micro-presentations (15 slides, 20 seconds each, with automatic countdown = 5 minutes total)
- or other very short ("lightning" style) talks (5 minutes max)
- there is a projector, but no internet
